Continents, Countries and Capitals

Grade: 4

Learning goals:

1. to develop students’ vocabulary around the topic of European countries, cities and how to describe them;
2. to learn the names of the seven continents.

Classwork:

in this lesson, students learn the seven continents and new vocabulary to talk about countries and their capitals. This is followed by two exercises where students have to connect the continents with their names and use new vocabulary to describe flags and name capitals.
