The Verb "To Be" in Past Simple

Learning goals:

1. to introduce the affirmative and negative form of the verb "to be" in the past simple;
2. to form and use the verb “to be” in the Past Simple.

Classwork:

in this lesson, students will use the verb “to be” in the Past Simple. This is followed by two exercises, where students will have to form the past tense of the verb “to be” and choose between the affirmative and negative forms.
